Not to be outdone, the Sunsetters garnered 82 pitching pts. and coasted to a win over Da' Bull who fell to 4-4.
The Bronx Bombers pulled into 2nd place in the Soda Division with an easy win over the hapless Rubble.
25 was the magic number for the Vintage Yanks as two hitters scored that point total as they upended the Wild
Boars.

Again the name Jeff Bagwell (32 pts.) popped up in the Penguins assault on the Wild Boars. All but 1 point
for the Pens came from their hitters.
Just when it looked like Da' Bull would not win again, they pummelled the Bombers.
The Vintage Yanks increased their league lead by trouncing brother Pinstripes 166-134.

SCABnotes:
Losing 9 points for playing Bobby Bonilla out of position didn't hurt the Boars as they beat the Bombers by 10 points.
The Yanks used three 20 point totals to edge the Rubble. The Rubble had better pitching while the Yanks had
better hitting.
The Sunsetter also lost points as Mickey Tettleton forfeited 11 for being out of position. They also won their game.
Da' Bull crept into 2nd place in the Pop Division as they crushed the Popster Penguins.

SCABnotes:
Da' Bull finally went over .500 with their victory over the Rubble. 252 points breaks the season best 244 by the
Penguins.
11-2 is a great record at this point in the season as the Yanks dominated the Penguins as well as the league.
The Bombers sent the Sunsetters to their 4th loss of the season. Mo Vaughn led the Bombs with 30 points.
The pathetic Wild Boars would have beaten the Pinstripes if only they had played Bonilla in the correct position -
16 points. A 114-108 win turned into a 108-98 loss.

SCABnotes:
It was a banner season for the Vintage Yanks as they finished at 13-2. Another year and another playoffs for Lou
Valente.
The Suns maintained their dominance in the Pop Division with a convincing win over Da' Bull.
The Bombers clinched their playoff spot with a win over the Rubble.
The Pinstripes also gained entrance into the post season with a win over the Penguins.
Unfortunately, we don't have the results of the first round of the playoffs, but we can see that the Bronx Bombers upset the Vintage Yanks
and the Sunsetters beat the Pinstripes. The 1995 Championship series pits the Suns against the Bronx Bombers
